PL100
The PL100 is a truly compact, wideband speaker capable of expressing the entire
micro-dynamic texture of every performance. A rigid cabinet construction, proprietary
bracing techniques and advanced damping technologies combine to provide the optimum
environment for its wonderfully accurate and detailed C-CAM ribbon tweeter and its
lightening-fast, precision-engineered RDT bass driver. The PL100 will draw a rich,
natural radiance from the most demanding of music and film scores and reproduce

PL200
The latest addition to Monitor Audio’s flagship Platinum range is a compact version
of the universally acclaimed PL300 loudspeaker, designed for an even broader range
of environments. In a skilful re-sizing of the PL300 (the PL200 occupies approximately
1/3 the volume of the PL300), Monitor Audio’s engineers have taken great care to
preserve all the sonic virtues and design excellence of the larger speaker. By utilising
a re-scaled 6.5” version of the Platinum 8” bass driver and by re-configuring the
Platinum mid-range Tapered Line Enclosure (TLE) to align co-axially with the PL200’s
HiVe®II bass reflex port, they have endowed the smaller PL200 with the spiritual
essence of its universally admired range-mate.

|
|
PL300
Standing at nearly 1.2m tall, the PL300 is a majestic three-way floor-standing loudspeaker
possessing the ability to generate the power and scale required to fill a larger
room with awe-inspiring sound. Jaw-dropping dynamics, combined with supreme agility
give the PL300 the power to paint the widest and most luminous of sonic pictures.
It is a true wide-bandwidth speaker system, reproducing clean, natural frequencies
ranging from 28Hz to 100kHz. Extremely accurate drivers, very low distortion networks
and a sublimely inert cabinet structure combine to create a loudspeaker of immense
sonic integrity: neutral, lifelike and totally refined.

|
PLW15
Underpinning the drama and scintillating musical vitality of a Platinum multichannel
speaker system is the PLW-15, a range matching sub-bass engine endowed with all
the quality, virtuosity and excellence that defines the marque. Capable of releasing
the deepest frequencies recorded on disc, the PLW-15 will drive performances of
music and film with an utterly breathtaking authority. Its 15” (381mm) long-throw
C-CAM driver is triple suspended in a rigid die-cast alloy chassis. A massive double-stack
magnet motor system with a 4” (101.6mm) voice coil provides the ultimate linearity
and control required to reproduce the clean seismic 16Hz tones that you feel more
than you hear.

|
PLC150
The challenge for Monitor Audio’s design team was to achieve the performance criteria
of a high-end centre channel speaker whilst reducing the overall physical dimensions
to a more realistic level. Designed to complement a high-end theatre system, the
PLC150 is smaller centre speaker based around the PL100. The 2 ½ way, three driver
configuration utilises similar drivers to the PL100 and is voiced to compliment
the whole range.

|
|
PLC350
Given that at least sixty per cent of the information generated by a home theatre
system is reproduced by the centre channel speaker, the necessity of having as accomplished
a design as the PLC350 in the role cannot be exaggerated. It’s a substantial three–way,
four driver system with the same driver complement as the PL300. Having a purely
neutral tonal balance, vanishingly low distortion and cabinet colouration, and the
most advanced drivers in its class, the PLC350 is able to illuminate frequencies
from 32Hz to 100 kHz - arguably the widest bandwidth of any centre speaker available.
Aesthetically and acoustically matched with the PL300, the PLC350 will deliver a
seamless transition of audio within the front soundstage of a Platinum multi-channel
system for a truly immersive, dynamic and enriching music or film sound experience.

GS10
The GS10 re-writes the book on compact monitor performance, easily eclipsing the
dazzling standard set by its predecessor, the GR10. It may be small, but the GS10
showcases the multiple talents that make the Gold Signature series so remarkable.
With its advanced, low-resonance drivers, rigid build and contoured cabinet edges,
the GS10 redefines accurate, low-colouration sound in a compact, stylish stand-mount
speaker. Using the new, low distortion 6 1/2” RST®II bass-mid driver and gold C-CAM®
tweeter developed especially for the GS series, the GS10 is capable of true 3-D
imaging and tonal accuracy.

GS20
The massively accomplished GR20 was a hard act to follow, but its successor, the
GS20, pulls decisively ahead in all respects, combining gorgeous aesthetics, sublime
sonics and superlative build quality. Its two-and-a-half way, three-driver configuration
is built around a unique dual-cavity cabinet design, in which the 6 1/2” RST®II
bass and bass-mid drivers work into separate enclosures, tuned to different frequencies
and impedances. This provides improved power handling and delivers faster, deeper,
more dynamic bass and greater transparency through the crucial mid-range. Above
that, the gold C-CAM® tweeter ensures a smooth, detailed sound all the way up to
43KHz, exploiting the full potential of the latest wide-bandwidth digital formats.

GS60
Developing the discrete cavity technology of the GS20, the four-driver GS60 recreates
the deep bass and authentic scale of a performance, bringing lifelike power, dynamics
and realism to music and film. Yet its tall, slender appearance is anything but
overpowering. Like all models in the Gold Signature range, the flagship is a monument
to the cabinet-maker's art: immaculate real wood or piano gloss finishes are blended
with modern industrial design and superb attention to detail. Even if you think
you've heard it all before, the GS60 will take your breath away.

GSLCR
Amazing as it may seem, a centre speaker may be required to reproduce over 60% of
the entire output of a film soundtrack. This means that it must deliver the dramatic
impact of explosions and sound effects as precisely as it recreates the many tonal
subtleties of dialogue. The outstanding dynamic reach and generous power handling
of the Gold Signature LCR speaker allow it to master the most dynamic drive conditions
with ease and still have something in reserve. Monitor Audio has optimised the design
to provide accuracy and control over a wide listening area while preserving the
exact tonal signature and balance of the GS Series. This means that the GSLCR will
integrate perfectly with any of the speakers in the Gold Signature range.

GSFX
The GSFX is a completely new design from Monitor Audio. Its advanced dual mode configuration
can be switched automatically by a processor to accommodate a range of surround
sound applications. The speaker’s slim-profiled angled baffle design incorporates
no fewer than three driver pairs. When used in monopole mode to reproduce discrete
side or rear channels, its front-firing 6 1/2" RST®II bass/mid driver and gold C-CAM®
tweeter come into play, delivering an accurate wide bandwidth sound-field to complement
perfectly a front-channel GS speaker combination. The GSFX in dipole mode uses two
side-firing pairings of 4-inch C-CAM® bass/mid driver and gold C-CAM® tweeter combined
with the tailored output from the front-firing bass/mid driver to provide wonderfully
diffused yet tonally precise surround effects

GSW12
The GSW12 powered subwoofer combines state-of-the-art components and a compact enclosure
for placement flexibility, with unique system tuning versatility and remote control
operation. The GSW12 subwoofer features a 600-watt amplifier with an advanced switch
mode power supply, an ultra-long throw 12-inch C-CAM driver with a 3-inch diameter
voice coil and a triple suspension system in an acoustic suspension cabinet. The
GSW12 delivers deep, loud, and articulate bass down to 18Hz. Its compact size thunderous
performance, and availability in our beautiful Gold Signature veneers and lacquer
finishes make this sub perfect for in-cabinet or in-room applications.

The elegant floor-standing RX6 design places the new wider bandwidth RX tweeter
in concert with freshly designed 6” C-CAM® bass and 6” C-CAM® bass/mid drivers to
form a balanced two-and-a-half way system. Separate chambers are used within the
enclosure to provide differential tuning for the 6” drivers, producing higher efficiency
and exceptional low frequency extension. For such a slim, easy-to-position speaker,
the innovative RX6 produces an extraordinarily wide bandwidth, enhanced with a natural
tonality that breathes life into every format – even HD audio. An adjustable base
plinth is supplied for added stability.

RX8
A feat of ergonomic brilliance by our design team has engineered the greater poise
and power of a large three-way loudspeaker into the svelte RX8. Its ultra-slim front
profile conceals a deeper cabinet, which provides the volume needed for seismic
levels of bass from dual 6” bass drivers. A single 6” bass/mid driver delivers naturally
vibrant midrange sound, while a newly developed C-CAM® gold dome tweeter smoothly
extends high frequency performance to a point way beyond the upper limit of the
audible spectrum. Sheer control, open dynamics and wide bandwidth illuminate the
sound of the RX8: a very big speaker disguised as a very slender one.

RX CENTER
The role of a centre-channel speaker is to reproduce up to 60% of a movie soundtrack,
including the critical dialogue content, yet by the sound of some rival systems,
surprisingly little time is devoted to its design. The exceptional RX Centre proves
the old adage that you get out what you put in. It’s been very finely calibrated
to match the dynamics and timbre of other RX speakers for a wonderfully open, detailed
and seamless front sound stage in any RX system configuration. We’ve tuned the RX
Centre’s multi-driver components to deliver the optimal combination of sonic virtue
and size, so that the velvet subtlety of whispers and the explosive force of action

RXFX
It’s widely understood that the sound of surround TVs cannot compete with the excitement
of a properly designed and equalised home theatre system. But great sound comes
at the expense of living space…until now. The wall-hugging RX-FX surround speaker

BR 5
Reflecting the spirit and ambition of the Bronze Reference range, the BR5 is a wholesale
re-working of the established B4 floor-standing model. We’ve slimmed down the cabinet
for a more desirable profile, replacing the larger drivers of the B4 with potent
5 1/2" bass and bass/mid-range designs, which provide a remarkable blend of punch,
deep bass extension and control. The BR5’s 2 1/2-way system is optimised by utilising
an integral structure of dedicated driver chambers, hitherto employed exclusively
by our more expensive loudspeakers. Benefiting from additional cross-bracing, the
BR5’s cabinet is especially rigid, liberating its sound from the boxy colourations
that afflict lesser designs. The result is an astonishing mix of clarity, exuberance
and power from a deceptively slender loudspeaker, which transcends the conventional
understanding of ‘entry-level’.

BR 6
The most distinguished and compelling of them all, the BR6 adds effortless authority
to the long list of Bronze Reference virtues. Embraced by a beautifully slim floor
standing cabinet, the BR6’s 2 1/2-way system comprises a 1” C-CAM® tweeter, supported
by two 6 1/2” MMP®II bass drivers and a single 6 1/2” MMP®II bass/mid-range driver
mounted within dedicated chambers. Its powerful driver complement and sophisticated
cabinet structure work together to lend performances an immense sense of scale and
muscularity while revealing the finest high frequency detail. The BR6’s elegant

BRFX
The highly specialised BRFX dual-mode surround speaker symbolises all the quality

driver flanked either side by two 1" C-CAM® tweeters on angled baffles, the super-compact

BRLCR
For the BRLCR, we’ve demolished the limitations of entry-level design by creating
a speaker that not only reproduces voice with unfailing accuracy, but extends this
performance to accommodate bass frequencies as well. This means the BRLCR will perform
brilliantly as a centre and surround speaker, underpinned by the BRW10 subwoofer.
Its system of twin 5 1/2" MMP®II drivers, 1" C-CAM® tweeter and upgraded crossover
matches perfectly with the system architecture of other BR series speakers for pin-point
imaging at any location.

BRW 10
The BRW10 subwoofer represents a significant step up from its predecessor – the

respect. A new 10" MMP®II driver and 150 Watt Class-D power amplifier have been

Featuring a new, fully integrated switch mode power supply complete with an auto-ranging

The diminutive R45HD is the perfect satellite speaker for front left, centre, right
and rear surround sound applications. Its secret is a combination of a 75mm (3”)
MMP®II cone mid-bass driver and rear-firing 20mm (¾”) C-CAM® gold dome tweeter,
which spreads and magnifies the sound around the room to create a huge, encompassing
surround sound effect. Designed to dovetail with the R360HD subwoofer and available
in the RadiusHD range of real wood veneers and lacquers, the R45HD will blend perfectly
with your décor in an ultra-discreet, multi-channel audio or video system. Installing
the R45HD on the ceiling or wall is easy by using the high quality angled bracket

The slightly larger and more versatile R180HD offers the same irresistible blend
of virtues as the R90HD, but can be installed vertically as a main, side or rear

music applications around the home. Combined with a R360HD or R370HD subwoofer however,
the R180HD will form part of a formidably powerful stereo or multi-channel home

tweeter provides the signature accuracy of Monitor Audio’s reference speakers. Its

The elegant R250HD has been designed to be sited vertically or horizontally with
larger 50 and 60-inch LCD and plasma displays. Providing bass right down to 50 Hz,

or movie system. At just 105mm (4 1/4”) deep and in a choice of luxury black, white
or silver lacquers, its suitability for flat screen applications or where space
is at a premium is beyond dispute. The R250HD employs the R225HD’s driver configuration
in a longer cabinet and extra port providing the enhanced bass performance that
makes it a desirable space efficient hi-fi satellite for any room.

R270HD
The R270HD is a super-slim floor-standing loudspeaker designed for genuine full-range
performance in a serious music system or multichannel audio/video system. Excellent
fidelity from twin 100mm (4”) MMP®II mid/bass drivers and a 25mm (1”) C-CAM® gold
dome tweeter, coupled with a svelte profile provides the opportunity to enjoy great
sound and discreet design all in one package. A choice of luxury real-wood or lacquer
finishes supplies a lustrous appeal, giving the R270HD a tactile sense of quality
that feels at home anywhere.

R360HD
This super-compact active subwoofer has the speed, subtlety and pitch accuracy to
enhance the highest quality music reproduction but it can also deliver the power
and slam demanded by movie soundtracks by virtue of its ported, downward-firing
205mm (8’’) driver, controlled by a powerful built-in 100 watt Class A-B amplifier.
It has a variable crossover frequency control from 40Hz-180Hz, 0-180 phase switch,
stereo, LFE RCA inputs, silicone rubber anti-resonance feet and two EQ settings
for music or video programme optimisation.

R370HD
The R370HD active subwoofer provides a new dimension to a system’s sound. Its 255mm
(10”) C-CAM® downward firing driver, powered by a potent 250W (RMS) Class D amplifier,
will extend the reach of the RadiusHD satellites to add the deepest drama to movies
and music.

|
|
The R370HD’s lowest frequencies are controlled so expertly that even subtle effects
are better defined, enhancing the listening experience with bass you can feel as
well as hear. The R370HD is equipped with a top-mounted control panel for easy access
to volume and 2 EQ settings, 12V trigger input for power on/standby control from
an AV amplifier, variable crossover control from 40Hz-120Hz, stereo, LFE RCA inputs
and link outputs.
